Abstract
1487810 Fusible cut outs BASSANI TICINO SpA 22 July 1975 [26 July 1974] 30644/75 Heading H2G A plug-in fuse comprises a housing formed from a hollow insulating cap 1 whose open end is closed by a closure 2, the housing containing one or more fuse strips 12, 13 connected to conductive pins 16 projecting through the closure or through the wall opposite thereto (Fig. 3, not shown). A partition 9 is disposed in the cap which is filled with sand. The pins 16 may have flattened cross-sections, and these may have a size appropriate to the fuse rating. The housing may have a circular, elliptical or polygonal cross-section, may have a convex closed end wall, and may be formed from ceramic or plastics material.
