Abstract

1484558 Frying vessels A DA CRUZ GROSSI 5 March 1976 [6 March 1975] 09045/76 Heading A4A [Also in Division B 1] A cooking vessel, such as a frying pan 5, has a frusto-conical lid 1 with an aperture 2 at its apex, the lid having an inwardly curved lower edge forming a collection channel 3 for any condensed fumes etc., the vessel being formed with means 7 for supporting the lid so as to leave a peripheral gap between the lid and the vessel through which air can enter the vessel. As shown, the supporting means 7 comprise brackets on which the lid is fitted and it is stated that, after use, the lid may be inverted and used as a funnel to discharge the collected liquid through the aperture 2.
