Abstract

1477794 Plastics material roll IMPERIAL CHEMICAL INDUSTRIES Ltd 11 Nov 1975 [21 Feb 1975] 7322/75 Heading B8M A plastics web material is folded along fold lines 5, 6, 7, 8, which are located longitudinally of the material, to form a roll 2 the length of which is less than the total width of the material when it is unfolded. The roll 2 is stored in a dispenser 1 which includes a serrated edge 3 for cutting across a portion of the material which is to be dispensed through an openable lid of the dispenser. The material comprises metalfoil strips 4 bonded along side edges to allow the material to be wrapped and fastened around food or similar goods. The material may be made of polyethylene terephthalate. The longitudinal folding or pleating may be carried out using conventional folding techniques. Folding frames, blades or tubes of appropriate form may be used to assist the folding operation.
