Abstract
1476808 Containers TENNON LIN 24 Jan 1975 3275/75 Heading B8P A foldable container comprises a hollow open-ended body 10, e.g. of paper or corrugated cardboard and a plastics bag liner 30 attached to the body 10 by a hot-melt adhesive at a zone 20 of the body 10. A plastics film sealing means 40 is also attached at the zone 20, and may be high frequency- or heat-welded, Fig. 2 (not shown), or tied with a cord (404), Fig. 3 (not shown), to seal the container. An outer carton (60) may be provided, and the container may be of square section, Fig. 1, or generally cylindrical, Fig. 7, with fold lines (101A), Fig. 5 (not shown), for collapsing. A flexible metal strip 70 may be incorporated in the body to enable a spout to be formed, e.g. for drinking.
