Abstract
1475044 Pyrotechnic compositions AE & CI Ltd 12 Aug 1975 [12 Aug 1974] 33544/75 Heading ClD [Also in Division F3] A timing fuse having a mean burning time within a range of from 100 to 500 seconds per metre and a coefficient of variation of not more than 2% in said time, the fuse having a pyrotechnic powder core comprising a mixture of particulate oxidizing agent and a particulate fuel which mixture contains from 20 to 67À3% by weight of oxidizing agent, the oxidizing agent comprising potassium nitrate, potassium perchlorate, sodium nitrate or pure manganese dioxide, the fuel comprising ferrosilicon, ferromanganese or calcium silicide, and the particle size range of the oxidizing agent and the fuel being from 2 Ám. to 200 Ám.
