Abstract

The photographic bleach-fixing baths contain a mild oxidising agent, for example an iron(III) chelate complex, a silver halide solvent, for example an alkali metal thiosulphate or ammonium thiosulphate, and 2,6-dihydroxyisonicotinic acid and/or 3,5-dihydroxybenzoic acid. The two last-mentioned compounds serve for reducing undesired discolorations on the photographic prints produced by means of the bleach-fixing baths.
