Abstract
1469279 Transformers and inductors TRANSFOBMATOBEN UNION AG 21 May 1974 [26 May 1973] 22693/74 Heading HIT A single coarse stage winding arranged concentrically about a master winding and a multistage. fine stage winding comprises at least three current paths, e.g. 1, 2, 3, 4, connected in series and arranged spatially parallel in a common winding cylinder, each path consisting of at least two conductors connected in parallel by bridges 5, 6, 7, the conductors of each both spatially flanking or being flanked by the conductors of the electrically following path. A fine stage winding, Fig. 2, comprises eight stages 11 to 18 each of two conductors connected in parallel by bridges 19 and 20 which are provided with terminals 21-29 for interconnection with a stage selector switch. More than two conductors per path or fine stage may be used and when an odd number may be divided into two groups with a different number of conductors in each and arranged so that larger conductor groups flank, or are flanked by, smaller conductor groups. The series electrical connections of path to path or of fine stage to fine stage may be effected outside the winding arrangement by means of terminals.
