Abstract

1465021 Externally-meshing gear pumps ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 25 April 1975 [7 May 1974] 17358/75 Heading F1F Each bearing member of an externally-meshing gear pump or motor comprises a bush 15 with an inner bearing shell 19' and is provided with bores 32, 32' adjacent the end-face 31 of bush 15 which engages a gear wheel to render the bush resilient, the bores extending parallel to face 31 and perpendicularly of the plane through gear wheel shaft axes and leading from the low pressure side of the bush periphery to the bore 19 of bush 15 in which shell 19' is located. There may be two rows of bores Fig. 5 (not shown), and instead of being circular-sectioned they may have a slot-section with the slot axis inclined to the gear wheel axis Fig. 6 (not shown). If the bush does not have an inner bearing shell, the bores stop short of the bush bore Fig. 7 (not shown).
