Non-metallic elastic bodies and cores. - A cushion tyre comprises a tread-portion 16 with parallel sides 24 connected to base-portions 17, 18 by side walls 19, 20 each having oppositely-curved faces 25, 26 as shown. The aperture 22 is closed by a security-ring 29 fitted between the base portions which are compressed by the rim flanges 12, 13 in assemblage.
