Abstract

1460376 Connecting scraper flights to conveyer chains REILLOC ENG Ltd 5 Aug 1975 [4 Sept 1974] 38725/74 Heading B8A A connector 10 between a scraper flight 14 and a link of a scraper chain, has two parallel grooves for respectively receiving the limbs 11 and 12 of the link, a central tongue 18 being curved to retain the limb 11, and a reaction member 19 being received in the connector, to bear against, and retain, the link 12. The member 19 has a square, or circular, body portion, received within a correspondingly shaped aperture in the connector 10. The member 19 is retained in the latter by two parallel disposed pins 20 (one only, visible in Fig. 1) or by the limbs of a single staple (Figs. 4 and 5, not shown).
