Abstract

1458262 Bulk storage bags IBC TRANSPORT CONTAINERS Ltd 3 Jan 1974 00255/74 Heading B8K Collapsible containers, of the type described in Specification 1,129,917, has an apron 12 foldable over a funnel-shaped bottom 2 and outlet 3 to protect the outlet. The apron is secured at 13 to the container wall by stitching or plastics welding according to the materials used and is secured to the opposite wall by straps 15 engaging rings 14, or further straps, or by a "touch and close" fastener. The sides of the flap may have arcuate cut-outs therein to reduce the loose folds when the apron is secured to the rings, alternatively the apron can be triangular. The lower edge of the side wall 1 may be reinforced by a cylindrical band.
