Abstract

1456665 Cutting tools WICKMAN WIMET Ltd 6 Feb 1974 [27 Feb 1973] 9696/73 Head- B3B A turning tool assembly comprises two tool holders 10, 11 which are securable together, each holder having a detachable cutting insert 21, 22 secured in a recess thereon by way of a screwed clamping member 18, 19 respectively, the holders being adjustable relative to each other lengthwise to preposition the location of the cutting inserts to permit simultaneous machining of a workpiece by both cutting inserts. The two holders are located with respect to each other by way of a tongue and groove one on each holder respectively. The lengthwise adjustment between the holders is effected by a screw member 31.
