Abstract

1454881 Drum brakes DBA SA 6 Jan 1975 [17 Jan 1974] 483/75 Heading F2E A wheel speed sensor 32 is mounted in a stationary brake actuator housing 16 of a brake having at least one actuator for applying a pair of brake shoes 12, 14 to a rotary drum 20. The drum 20 is provided with a series of crenellations 36 on its periphery which move adjacent a pair of crenellations 38 of the sensor 32 which is of well known type and secured in an extension 28 of the actuator cylinder 17 extending through an aperture in a back plate 10.
