Abstract

1453346 Pipe couplings PONT-A-MOUSSON SA 19 June 1974 [27 July 1973] 27156/74 Heading F2G A pipe coupling comprises a cylindrical elastic sealing element 17 having in its centre part an annular recess 18 in which is disposed a rigid cylindrical maintaining ring 16, a sleeve 15 having an integral radial flange 21 for connection to the flange of another pipe member, a cylindrical part 23 and a frusto-conical part 24 surrounding and confining the sealing element 17. In a second embodiment the sleeve 15 has a separate annular flange made in two halves, which locates through an internal radial step abutting a shoulder at the frusto-conical end of the sleeve.
