Abstract

1451466 Laminates SIPS-SOCINDUSTRIA PROFILATI SOMAGLIA SpA 26 Oct 1973 [13 March 1973] 49875/73 Heading B5N [Also in Divisions B2 and E1] A sheet 1 for use in walling or roofing material is shaped to define spaced parallel trapezoidal ribs projecting from the general plane thereof and extending in a single direction, at least part of each zone 1<SP>1</SP> of the sheet between adjacent ribs having a plurality of parallel sawtooth corrugations extending in the same direction. A panel for use as walling or roofing material may comprise two of the sheets and a filling of thermal insulating material which is injected into the space between the sheets. Alternatively a panel may be produced by injecting the thermal insulating material, e.g. polyurethane, on to a single sheet. In Fig. 1 bitumen or other adhesive 3 is applied to the zones 1<SP>1</SP> of the sheet and a thermal insulating material in the form of a panel 2 applied thereto. The panel produced is covered with layers of cardboard-felt 4 and coatings of bitumen or other adhesive.
