1449845 Resectoscopes J J IGLESIAS 9 Oct 1973 [8 June 1973] 47051/73 Heading A5R A cutting loop assembly for use in a resectoscope comprises a metallic conduit 20 having extending therethrough an insulated electrically conductive wire 22 which is formed at its distal end into two upwardly extending and diverging first sections 26, 28, and straight parallel second sections 30, 32 terminating in a semicircular bare wire cutting loop 34, a strengthening member 40 being connected at a tubular end 42 to the conduit 20 by arms 46 and having its other arcuate end 44 supporting sections 30, 32 by means of ears 58, 60.
