Abstract

1448548 Damping fluid-pressure actuators MOSIER INDUSTRIES Inc 15 Jan 1975 [15 Jan 1974] 1766/75 Addition to 1401126 Heading F1D A rubber-like mechanical damper for an actuator, Fig. 1 (not shown) has an annular projection 40, Fig. 2, which abuts the cylinder head, an annular mounting flange 32 and a sealing lip 48 which is inclined at approximately 15 degrees to the surface 30. Fig. 3 (not shown), illustrates a similar damper. In the embodiment shown in Fig. 4 a relief port 56 is provided in the projection 40. Fig. 5 shows a construction in which a sealing lip 90 is combined with an impact member 93, 94.
