Abstract

1444678 Pyrazolecarboxylic acid amides MARUKO SEIYAKU CO Ltd 11 April 1974 [17 April 1973 13 Sept 1973] 16329/74 Heading C2C The invention comprises compounds of formula wherein R is alkyl, X is benzyl (possibly halogensubstituted) or substituted Ph in which the substituents are selected from alkyl, alkoxy, halogen, NO 2 , NH 2 or CF 3 , R 2 is H or alkyl, and R 3 is H, alkyl, hydroxyalkyl or (possibly substituted) aminoalkyl, or NR 2 R 3 forms a heterocyclic ring. In examples, these compounds are prepared by reacting with HNR 2 R 3 the appropriately substituted pyrazolecarboxylic acid, or its acid chloride or ester. Therapeutic compositions having antiinflammatory activity comprise compounds of the above formula. Biological tests described utilize intraperitoneal or oral administration.
