Abstract
1439499 Spraying fertilizers TOKICO Ltd 5 Sept 1973 [5 Sept 1972 26 Sept 1972 27 Sept 1972] 41755/73 Heading AID [Also in Divisions F1 and F2] Water from a tank 100 and fertilizer from a tank 103 are mixed in a mixer 102 and fed into a main conduit 106. Spray heads 109 are fed by lines 66a-66d and valves 50a-50d. The valves follow a sequence of operations in which a line 71a is supplied with fertilizer for a predetermined time. After this time line 72a is supplied with fertilizer whilst line 71a is purged by compressed air from a compressor 107. This sequence continues until all the lines attached to valve 50a have been supplied and purged after which the valve closes.
