Abstract
1437736 Valves ROBERT BOSCH GmbH 14 Feb 1974 [15 Feb 1973] 6814/74 Heading F2V [Also in Division G3] A change-over valve 3 for dividing the fluid flow from a constant delivery pump 1 between a working cylinder 12 and a reservoir 2 is actuated by an independent fluid pressure medium acting on a piston 7. The supply of the medium from a pump 18 to either side of the piston is controlled by pilot valves 15, 16 which are electro-magnetically actuated through an electric pulse generator 19. The time one valve is open while the other is closed depends on the length of the pulses relative to their frequency. The pulse length and frequency can be varied to such an extent that one valve is always open while the other is closed. A first pressure limiting valve 4 is included in the input conduit and a second such valve 17 is included in the conduit from the pump 18.
