Abstract
1430504 Calendar watches EBAUCHES SA 25 March 1974 [29 March 1973] 13177/74 Heading G3T In a wrist watch comprising date, hour, minute and seconds indicating dials, 9, 6, 10, 12 respectively, the annular hour dial 6 is eccentric with respect to the other dials. Indexing of the dial 6 is effected by a hairspring 23, one end of the spring being secured to the hub 20a of a disc 20 fixed to an hour wheel 14 and the other end of the spring carrying a finger 24 which passes through both an aperture 25 in the rim 20b of disc 20 and a radial slot 26 in a wheel 19 which surrounds disc 20. Teeth on wheel 19 mesh with internal teeth 6a of dial 6 so that when, once an hour, a jumper 27 is displaced by a protrusion 10a on minute dial 10 so as to disengage the jumper from external teeth 6b of dial 6, the spring 23 unwinds to cause wheel 19 to rotate and hence dial 6 to be indexed, the unwinding of spring 23 being limited by finger 24 engaging the side of aperture 25. Spring 23 is rewound by the rotation of hour wheel 14 during the succeeding hour. The hour and date indications appear in windows C4, 7, Fig. 1 (not shown) in a dial (3).
