Abstract

1427237 Doors MOSHER DOORS INC 22 Feb 1973 [22 Feb 1972] 8818/73 Heading E1J A door comprises a plurality of sections 35, 40, 45 side by side, each section having a plurality of separate horizontally extending panels 50 with their ends in vertical guides 55, 60, 70, the outer guides 55, 60 being fixed and the inner guides 70 comprising telescopic parts sliding on roller bearings. In a door with three sections, this allows the intermediate door section 40 to open to a greater height. The outer fixed guides 55, 60 have two channels receiving respective panels 50 of the end section. Intermediate guide 70 has fixed parts 75, 78, 79 (Fig. 3) providing a channel for uppermost panel 50 of section 40, and has parts 76, 77 slidable into the fixed part and providing channels for the other panels 50. Parts 76, 77 carry rollers engaging guides 80, 88 and have guides 120 engaged by further rollers on part 75. The panels are raised by cables. Two panels only may be provided.
