Abstract

1424277 Trolleys ROTEMEC SpA 17 May 1973 [19 May 1972] 23604/73 Heading B7B A trolley for transporting cylinders, e.g. printing cylinders to a machine and then inserting the cylinder into the machine has two sets of wheels which allow movement of the trolley in directions at right angles to one another to facilitate manoeuvring the trolley into the operative position for the cylinder, means being provided for raising and lowering at least one of the sets of wheels relative to the other to change the set of wheels in operation. A frame 1 carries an arm 3 actuated by a pneumatic cylinder 4 and piston 5 for raising and lowering a cylinder C. Sets of wheels 13 and 14 are mounted below the frame 1, the wheels 13 have axes at right angles to the axis of cylinder C. Vehicle wheels 14 are positioned with their axes fixedly positioned parallel to the axis of the cylinder. The wheels 14 are vertically displaceable by pneumatic cylinders. Surfaces 7 and 6 on the arm 3 and frame 1 engage reference surfaces 9 and 8 of a guide 10 to locate the cylinder correctly in the machine.
