Abstract

1422644 Conveyor systems DIXIE-UNION VERPACKUNGEN GmbH 27 Dec 1972 [5 Jan 1972] 59650/72 Heading B8A [Also in Division B7] An article support 3 is guided along a closed path which includes an article receiving station and an article discharging station, the support 3 comprising a belt 1 trained around rollers 2, and the discharging station including means 35 for holding the belt 1 against movement whilst the support is moved by means 34 to deposit an article 4 at an area 6. The supports 3 are conveyed by pusher conveyors 30, 31 and lifts 32, 33. The holding means 35 acts on a belt tensioning connector 21 which is also engaged by a device 36 for repositioning the belt 1 to receive a fresh article. Magazine stores may be provided adjacent the stations.
