Abstract

1416589 Headsets STANDARD TELEPHONES & CABLES Ltd 5 July 1973 32003/73 Heading H4 A headset has a pair of receiver housings 12 each of which has a rim portion with at least one peripheral rail member 23, 27 extending in spaced parallel relation part way round the housing rim. A strap 13, 14 for interconnecting the two housings, has a fastener 25, 26 at each end, the fastener being attachable to the rail and movable therealong to different positions. Preferably, as shown in Fig. 2, each housing has two rail members 23, 27, to provide attachment for two straps 13, 14, and also to receive a fastener 28 for a respirator. A microphone boom 29 can be mounted on one receiver housing. The rails are " T " section, the head of the " T " receiving slotted portions 33, 34 of the two-part fastener Fig. 3, in which the of end the strap 13, folded around a pin 35, is clamped between the two parts of the fastener.
