Moulds; moulding pipes and tubes.-A collapsible core-bar for casting tubes and the like is formed with one or more segments 1, 2, 3, 4, held in rings 6 at each end, and pressed outwards by a taper mandrel 5, the segments being correspondingly tapered inside. On removal of the mandrel 5 after casting, the segments are collapsible, and one or more segments 2, 4 may be made of small size and with bevelled edges to facilitate this.
