Abstract
1410069 Electrolytic capacitors LICENCIA TALALMANYOKAT ERTEKESITO VALLALAT 4 Dec 1972 [2 Dec 1971] 55840/72 Heading H1M The anode of an electrolytic capacitor comprises rectilinear parallel metal filaments 001 interconnected by plate or foil 004 and has an anodically formed dielectric oxide layer 002, the radius r 1 of a filament and the maximum operating voltage U of the capacitor being such that r 1 lies between 0À5 U/Em and 40 U/Em, where Em is the breakdown strength of the formed oxide layer, and the thickness of the oxide layer is equal to r 1 [exp(U/r 1 Em) - 1]. It is shown that the highest specific capacitance is obtained when r 1 = 2U/Em, i.e. it does not only depend on the effective surface area.
