Abstract

1408338 Stripping sheets COPYER CO Ltd 26 Sept 1973 [4 Oct 1972] 44979/73 Heading B8R To facilitate the stripping of copy material 8 from the rotary drum 1 of a copying machine the feeding device is arranged to present the material to the drum with one side edge thereof projecting beyond the edge of the drum. This side edge is engaged by a roller 14, Fig. 1, or a guide plate 20, Fig. 3, to direct the material to delivery belts 11. In the arrangement of Fig. 1, a guide plate 13 assists in the directing of the copying material on to the belts 11. In the Fig. 3 arrangement, the pivotable guide plate 20 directs the leading edge of the material between rollers 21 and 22. A projection 20a on the guide plate directs the material towards belts 11.
