Abstract

1408269 Clamps H R DAVIES 11 Dec 1972 [14 Dec 1971 9 Feb 1972] 58062/71 and 6104/ 72 Addition to 1335702 Heading E2B A connector for connecting a pair of tubes comprises an elongated body divided longitudinally, a collar 12 surrounding the body intermediate the ends thereof, a bolt 13 extending transversely of the body through an aperture 14 in the collar and a threaded aperture 15 in one body part 11, a pin 16 extending through aligned apertures 18, 19 in the collar and other body part 10, the pin having a head portion 17 which is engageable by one end of the bolt whereby rotation of the bolt in one angular direction urges the body parts 10, 11 apart and into clamping engagement with the inner surface of the tubes into which the parts have been inserted.
