Abstract
1407596 World times comparator A G HENDERSON 25 Sept 1973 [30 Oct 1972] 49882/72 Heading G4B An indicator/calculator for comparing corresponding times at two different parts of the world comprises two relatively movable components (e.g. relatively rotatable cylinders, relatively longitudinally adjustable straight parallel members or, as shown, relatively rotatable discs 1, 2), each component bearing a 24 hour scale. Parts 5 of each scale may be coloured. A transparent cursor 3 has a segment missing to define edges 6 representing therebetween an 8 hour sleeping period. Meal times may be marked on the cursor. Lower disc 1 may bear an additional circular scale, Fig. 3 (not shown), overlaid by upper disc 2, which is transparent and bears a circular marking to encompass a chosen graduation of the additional scale. The additional scale graduations are 0-12 East and 0-12 West.
