Abstract
1400523 Gas-blast switches MAGRINIFABRICHE RIUNITE MAGRINI-SCARPA E MAGNANO-MSM SpA 31 July 1972 [30 July 1971] 35713/72 Heading H1N A blast nozzle for a gas-blast switch is internally shaped to provide a first zone 1 which is of substantially truncated conical form and convergent, a second zone 5 which is convergent and of substantially truncated conical form with a small cone angle, and a third zone 9 which is of substantially truncated conical form and divergent, radial holes 6 being provided in the wall of the nozzle in the second zone. A plurality of annular grooves 13 of triangular cross-section may be provided in the wall of the nozzle in the third zone.
