Abstract

1351860 Gas blast switches MAGRINI FABBRICHE RIUNITE MAGRINI-SCARPA E MAGNANO MSM SpA 19 April 1971 [16 April 1970] 27197/71 Heading H1N A blast nozzle for an axial blast circuit breaker has a first convergent zone 1, a second cylindrical zone 5 and third divergent zone 9, the zone 5 being formed with an annular channel 22 and a plurality of circumferentially spaced outlets 6 and the zone 9 with a plurality of annular, V-section grooves 13 as shown. There are at least six outlets 6 which may be radial as shown or slope towards the outlet 2 of the nozzle; they may be tapered. The channel 22 may have a rectangular section as shown or a triangular or semi-circular one.
