Abstract
1399716 Pressurized dispensers with separate compartments AEROSOL INVENTIONS & DEVELOPMENT SA 14 June 1972 [15 June 1971] 27799/72 Heading F1R A valve assembly for a pressurized dispensing container having separate compartments for different fluids to be dispensed simultaneously comprises a valve stem 88 having a shoulder 98 surrounded by a flexible shoulder 100 slidable in a valve housing 82 and closing separate inlet parts 102, 104 from chambers 108, 110 connected to bags 112, 114 (or one bag and a dip-tube). Abutments 130, 132 on the housing engage diametrically opposite points of the shoulder 100 and the shoulder 98 has aligned cut-outs 134 so that only portions of the shoulder 100 aligned with the ports 102, 104 slide in the housing when the stem 88 is depressed so that the ports remain isolated from each other the stem has two ports and passages 94, 96 and 90, 92 respectively aligned with the ports 102, 104 so that mixing of the fluids does not occur until they enter the button. A pressure balance port 140 is provided in the valve housing.
