Abstract

1396329 Laminated partition panel J B HALL 17 Oct 1973 [18 Oct 1972] 47890/72 Heading B5N [Also in Division E1] A partition panel comprises two outer layers 3 of plasterboard secured to an inner layer 2 of prefabricated board formed from a bonded aggregate of fibrous particles, e.g. flaxboard, hardboard or chipboard. The panels may be shaped so as to form when abutted a co-operating tongue-and-groove arrangement 4, the abutting edges of the plasterboard layers being bevelled. In a preferred embodiment, a panel carries a laterally extending spacer rail provided with notches for accommodating service lines. The layers of tne panel may be adhesively bonded.
