Abstract

1395821 Cartons UNILEVER Ltd 5 May 1972 [6 May 1971] 21093/72 Heading B8P A carton of tubular form closed by end flaps 4, 5 has a divider member 11 forming a handle 21 provided with horizontal support members 14 that engage the inside of the upper side wall 1 when the carton is lifted. There may be a tearout panel 7 in the panel 1, the members 14 engaging wall 1 between the line of perforations 6 and the edge of the wall when the panel has been removed. The handle may be of solid board and the portion cut out to form the hand hole may be folded back between the two thicknesses of the handle. Hand holes 9 are provided in the end flaps, the flaps may be interlocked and/or stuck together. Cut-outs 19 engage the contents and flaps 17 separate the contents.
