Abstract

1391648 Fluid-pressure servomotor systems SERAM 7 July 1972 32040/72 Heading G3P A piston 2 has opposite faces subjected to pressures controlled by a pair of solenoid operated valves 13 each of which controls a continuous flow from an inlet duct A through points Al or A2 to a return duct (not shown), the piston being stationary when the feedback signal from a linear potentiometer 3 causes equal signals from a remotecontrol potentiometer to be applied to the valves. The ends of the cylinder containing the piston are closed by members 5 located between extensible clips 43 while the end of the piston rod has a screwthread 44 for connection to a water valve or variable delivery pump to be actuated in response to temperature or the current from a tachogenerator.
