1388720 Roller-and-ring mills CARLE & MONTANARI SpA 6 Sept 1972 [5 July 1972] 41324/72 Additionto 1277166 Heading B2A A roller-and ring mill as claimed in any one of claims 1 to 5 of the Parent Specification comprises an outer tubular member having parallel grooves on its inner surface 1 and smooth surfaced rollers carried by a rotor within and engaging the tubular member. The grooves may have rectangular, Fig. 2, or trapezoidal cross section and the rollers 4 may be continuous, Fig. 1 (not shown), or in a row 5 as in Fig. 2. The rollers 4 may be of tungsten-carbide.
