Abstract

1385470 Valves YORKSHIRE IMPERIAL METALS Ltd 20 Nov 1972 [4 Oct 1971] 46051/71 Heading F2V In a valve for use in domestic radiator systems comprising a housing 1 with inlet port 2, valve seat 3, outlet port 5 and a non-rotatable closure member 16 which is attached to a knob 20 by a rotatable but axially-fixed spindle 7, the knob is provided with a projection 24 and the body of the housing is provided with a projection 19 to limit the rotation of the knob in one direction, rotation of the knob being limited in the other direction by abutment of the closure member against the seat and the amount of rotation preset by the position of the knob on the spindle. Two projections can be provided on the knob to limit the rotation without closure of the valve.
