Abstract

1377086 Valves; positive detents C A NORGREN CO 29 Nov 1971 [13 Sept 1971] 55213/71 Headings F2V and F2E A valve comprises an axially and rotatably movable valve member 16 serving to meter lubricant to an air stream, a knob 18 secured to the valve member and carrying splines (42, Fig. 4, not shown), a transparent valve body 12 having splines (44) on a portion (12a) of the body, and a locking ring 20 which urges the splines (42, 44) into engagement with each other when the ring is moved axially downwards to effect a camming action on the lower part of the knob. A filter 62 is provided in an inlet chamber 24.
