Abstract

1384945 Austenitic alloys ARMCO STEEL CORP 21 April 1972 18615/72 Heading C7A An austenitic alloy comprises, in weight percent:- and optionally up to 3% molybdenum the balance being iron in an amount of at least 22%. Phosphorus up to 0.2% sulphur up to 0.035%, silicon up to 0.75% and boron up to 0.007 may also be present. These alloys are particularly suited as weld metal, e.g. for welding chromium/manganese/ nickel alloys.
