1384820 Aqueous cleansing compositions PYRENE CHEMICAL SERVICES Ltd 14 Nov 1973 [14 Nov 1972] 52585/72 Addition to 1309092 Heading C5D An aqueous composition for cleaning paintwork or plastics consists of (a) an alkali metal polyphosphate, (b) an alkali metal silicate, (c) an aliphatic alcohol polyoxyethylene condensate surfactant, and (d) a hydrophilic solvent. Optionally, the solution contains (e) a complexing agent and/or (f) an anionic phosphate ester surfactant. Surfactant (c) is a condensate of 3 to 12 moles of ethylene oxide with a C 6 to C 18 aliphatic alcohol. Components (a), (b), (d), (e) and (f) are all as in parent Specification 1,309,092.
