Abstract
1382637 Drying cabinets H BALTES 22 May 1972 [21 May 1971 6 Oct 1971] 24028/72 Heading F4G In Fig. 2, air is drawn in by two fans 11 (at opposite ends of a motor) through a filter 5, heated by electrical resistance coils at 12 and passed via a double rear wall 8, 9 and slots 13 horizontally to a drying space 21, and exits at 18 into the double-walled door 7 for discharge at 1. The bottom of the drying space has corrugations or beads guiding drip water to a tray 20. Two differing coils 12 are provided in each fan outlet, so that three different wattages may be obtained, and thermal switches are provided to de-extrate the coils. Indicator lamps and a timer are provided. Grids 14 for the laundry comprise parallel rods connected by bars 24, 25, the ends of the bars 24, 25 being supported in loop bars 15, 16 so that the grids may be swung down to hang vertically and to be removed.
