1381251 Semicarbazides and thiosemicarbazides FERLUX 4 Jan 1973 [6 Jan 1972] 519/73 Heading C2C The invention comprises compounds of the formula where Y is oxygen or sulphur, R 1 is H or C 1 -C 6 alkyl, R 2 is H, alkyl, aryl, aralkyl (which may be substituted by halogen or C 1 -C 6 alkyl) or alkoxy,R 3 is C 1 -C 6 alkyl, haloalkyl, alkenyl, cyclohexyl, benzyl, phenyl (which may be substituted by halogen, C 1 -C 6 alkyl, hydroxy, alkoxy, nitro or trifluoromethyl), α-naphthyl, styryl (which may be substituted on the phenyl nucleus by halogen or C 1 -C 6 alkyl, alkoxy or trifluoromethyl) or sulphamoyl phenyl which may be substituted by halogen, and n is 1 or 2 and their addition salts. The compounds may be prepared by reacting a compound of the formula with a compound of the formula Y = C=NR 3 or of the formula N 3 -CO-R 3 . The compounds are used as medicaments.
