Abstract
1372446 Electro-erosion STEREMAT "HERMANN SCHLIMME" BERLIN VEB 20 March 1972 13018/72 Heading B3V An electro-erosion machine comprises a glass guide element 17 having a duct coaxial with an electrode clamp which includes a hollow shaft 1 having a rigid clamp jaw 2 and a flexible clamp jaw 3 integral with one end of the shaft 1, each jaw 2, 3 having a semicircular positioning groove 6 for holding the electrode 15. The flexible jaw 3 is connected by a narrow web 4 to the remainder of the shaft 1 and is movable relative to the rigid jaw 2 by a knurled nut 11 which engages a screw 8 having an aperture 9 through which the electrode wire 15 passes. The screw 8 is secured against rotational movement by a pin 10. A plastics sleeve 12 is positioned within the shaft 1 for guiding the electrode wire 15 which may have a diameter of 0À01-0À03 mm. The shaft 1 and glass sleeve 17 are mounted in supports 16 and 24 respectively. Reference is made to the transmission of vibratory movement to the electrode 15 via the support 16.
