Abstract

1368930 Electro-chemical deburring DAIMLER-BENZ A G 10 May 1973 [12 May 1972] 22349/73 Heading C7B [Also in Division H2] An electro-chemical deburring device which constitutes a contact anode enveloped in insulation e.g. resin 5 for supplying current to a workpiece to be deburred comprises a tungsten contact element 3 attached to a copper-chrome alloy contact support 1 by a friction-welded joint 2. The contact element 3 (and/or support) may have at least adjacent the end of the insulation circumferential grooves 4 in which the insulation engages. The upper part 6 of the support 1 may be screwthreaded for attachment of a current-supply cable. An annular abutment surface 7 may be provided for a spring to urge the contact anode against the workpiece.
