1367502 Tree ties B A ALLAWAY and D E ALLAWAY [trading as R PROCTER & SON] 14 Dec 1972 [22 Sept 1971] 44105/71 Heading A1E A tree tie comprises a strap 1 of plastics or similar material wound around the tree 2 and adjacent stake. Between the tree and the stake the strap is threaded through at least two plastic spacers 3, 4 of tubular form, at least one of which is partially split at 4a so that as the tree grows the split will spread and the spacer will fall off thus permitting further growth without the need for replacement or adjustment of the tie.
