Abstract

1365528 Securing flexible facing sheets to partition posts VELCRO FRANCE 10 Aug 1971 [10 Aug 1970] 37563/71 Heading E1W Elongate metal elements of e.g. rectangular, L, T, X or star cross section are formed with at least one longitudinal slot 21, 22 extending over the entire height of the element and providing access to a similarly extending longitudinal space within the element and a multiplicity of hooking elements disposed along the element adjacent the edges of the slot. Along the margins of the slot the hooking elements 36 are provided which engage the back of the facing fabric or a corresponding looped felted or cellular portion on the back of the fabric. The fastening elements may be provided by a strip of material having many projecting hooks or may be provided by barb's struck out of the margin of the slot or the sides thereof. The fabric may be a woven or non woven artificial or synthetic fibrous material or may be a flexible plastics sheet.
