Abstract

1364464 Trace element formulation FISONS Ltd 9 Feb 1972 [15 Feb 1971] 4692/71 Heading C1B A solid composition comprises one or more alkaline earth metal, heavy metal or boron salts in admixture with citric acid and/or a watersoluble salt thereof as the sole or major sequestrant. The composition may contain a fertilizer and finds application in aqueous solution as foliar feed for plants. Specified salts are those of Cu, Fe, Mn, B, Zn and Mg, e.g. sodium borate, potassium borate, copper sulphate, copper acetate, ferrous or ferric sulphate, ferric nitrate, manganese sulphate, manganese chloride, manganese nitrate, zinc sulphate, zinc nitrate, zinc chloride, magnesium sulphate and sodium molybdate. The fertilizer may be urea, potassium chloride, or potassium and/or ammonium phosphate, nitrate and/or sulphate.
