Trimming.-Comprises improvements in the type of insole-trimming machine described in Specification 24561/10. To prevent the rotary cutter from leaving a gap 108, Fig. 3, near the heel breast portion of an insole, a gauge or guide 10, Fig. 4, with an edge 110 flatter than the cutter, is provided with fulcra 112, 114 about which a last carrying an insole can be turned so as gradually to withdraw the insole from the cutter.
