1360409 Brackets; shower fittings WALKER CROSWELLER & CO Ltd 8 Nov 1972 [11 Nov 1971] 52333/71 Headings A4B and A4N An assembly for supporting one end of a rail 5 comprises a two part bracket 9, 10 and a connector 11 supported by the bracket and supporting one end of the rail 5, the bracket having a first part 9 secured to a wall 6 and a second part 10 with one end screwed into a first recess in the connector 11, the parts 9, 10 having respective ribs 18 and slots 25 which facilitate interlocking of the parts in the manner of a bayonet type connection, and the connector 11 having a second recess to receive a fitting 12 on an end of the rail 5 whereby the rail 5 is supported to extend in a direction transverse to the direction of axial separation of the two bracket parts 9, 10. The rail 5 supports a spray or shower fitting 1 through a swivel coupling 3 and a sliding clamp 4.
